Why we exist:

Student scientists who want to break into research first must face the daunting task of reading and understanding research articles. These articles are riddled with technical jargon and complex figures that take time to interpret and gain and understanding of.

 

MedTalk Dispatch serves as a resource to skip the 3-4 hour process of understanding and dissecting a research paper, and hands you all the important information on a silver platter.
 

How to use MedTalk Dispatch:

Learning to read research papers is a skill. It takes time and effort. For each published post on MedTalk Dispatch, read the raw research paper alongside the blog post. Try to take on the mindset of a blog post writer. While reading ask yourself "How could I explain this to a friend?" Write down notes and try to figure out how the blog post writers came to their conclusions. When you're ready, you can publish a post too, contact me.
