Hey, I'm Talha, the writer and editor behind MedTalk Dispatch.

Dr. Krista Marrero is a neuroscience PhD specializing in behavioral analysis, data visualization, and translating complex research into clear insights. She bridges academic research and industry applications while actively mentoring students through biotech outreach programs across California.

Devanshi Agarwal is a PhD candidate at UC San Diego in the Neal Lab, focusing on biological sciences and metabolic pathways. She has industry experience in pharmacology and drug discovery from her time at Cytokinetics, and is the Director of Nucleate's Women's Initiative.

Currently taking a gap year, I am driven by a career in medicine and deeply interested in research across neuroscience, AI in healthcare, and pharmacology (particularly pharmacogenomics).
Outside of academic and research pursuits, I enjoy reading and writing; and am currently drafting a novel. A gamer, anime lover, baker, and fitness freak, I like to keep creativity and fun my main priority. I also enjoy designing, creating visual content and social posts. Learning languages is another growing passion, with Turkish, Arabic, and now Spanish in the mix.

Hi, I’m Daksha Chandragiri, a freshman at the University of Washington Seattle majoring in Biology on the pre-med track. I’m particularly interested in human anatomy and genetics, especially advances in genetic editing. Outside of academics, I love to bake, dance, and spend time with my family.

Amatullah Hassanali is a junior studying Health Science at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL and plans to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant (PA), with long-term interests in clinical research and the integration of emerging biotechnologies in genetics and neuroscience. Outside of academics, Amatullah enjoys reading, exploring art history, and learning about how creativity and science intersect in healthcare environments.

Hey, I’m Nabiha, a pre-med and biology student at The City College of New York. My research interests include biomedical engineering, particularly its application in surgery, as well as cancer biology, bone healing, and tissue repair. I’m working towards a career in surgery and gaining hands-on clinical experience. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading thriller novels, building wooden kits and LEGOs, and taking long walks.

Muaz Kashif is a cracked UC Riverside student who wants to one day become a sports med physician.
